Yep. It’s true. And while my kids are convinced I’m sooooo old I’ve seen and done everything, I must confess to all of y’all that I haven’t.
I know your perception of me is shattered, but it had to happen sometime.
So, for the first time ever, I am going to shoot a link to another blog. (warnings don’t count!)
Today is World Autism Awareness Day.
While I am the first one to despise labels of all kinds and rarely think they are beneficial, autism actually is a real condition, and it’s often not clearly understood.
Not everyone with autism is like Dr. Temple Grandin (who is amazing, by the way).
So, to do my part from my little corner of the blogosphere, I give you:
A hair -dryer kid in a toaster-brained world
You won’t regret the read!
Glad you felt like you could share!
😀
Thanks for the share… God bless.
🙂
I’m reading it now, the link to the page there … it’s excellent.
Wasn’t it though? That’s the best analogy I have seen, anywhere. I read the whole series of questions, too, which I also thought were very good explanations.
It was excellent, I have to finish reading it though. I got an idea from it about A.D.D. and then I wrote about it this morning. I”m a toaster… and I’ll burn you. 🙂 LOL 🙂
LOL, I’m pretty sure you are not just a toaster. I’m kinda thinking at least a toaster oven, and maybe even a flame thrower. 😉
LOL 🙂 ooooh Flame Thrower! Now that’s shiny! I like fire (beware… )
